Pozycja Aktywność duszpasterska i inwestycyjna księży salezjanów w parafii Kryniczno w latach 1951–1993Wiśniewski, Adam (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)The parish in Kryniczno was handed to the Salesians of Środa Śląska on February 1, 1951 and remained in their possession until February 15, 1993, when the administration of the parish passed into the hands of the diocesan clergy. Parishioners took part in daily masses and worship. Parish choirs, altar boy communities and rosary circles were founded. Pilgrimages for youth to Częstochowa and trips to World Youth Day were organized. During their stay in the parish of Kryniczno, Salesians carried on renovations of sacred objects, commercial objects, and other inventory. They conducted the restoration of the rectory and the church; restored statues of saints and other equipment, and purchased necessary furnishings. The pastoral activity of the Salesian priests in Kryniczno concluded in 1993.Pozycja Alegoryczny komentarz Filona Aleksandryjskiego do perykopy Rdz 6,1–4Zyzek, Kacper (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)Philo of Alexandria interpreted Genesis 6:1–4 by means of his chosen method, the allegory. In this way, the passage takes on a significantly different meaning from the literal one, one rather closer to the overall thought of the philosopher. The interpretation concerns ethics more than angelology, stressing the benefits of choosing the logos and the damages of rejecting it. Angels then, in accordance with the Stoic demonology, denote souls, daughters of men ‒ various low passions, and giants ‒ those who are immersed in the pleasures of the flesh. Such a reading of this difficult Genesis passage is absolutely unique in the history of exegesis.Pozycja Bezdomna kobieta jako matkaSzluz, Beata (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)This article is based on a larger research study by the author conducted in 2009 among 52 homeless women in the podkarpackie voivodship. Subjects were selected based on the criteria of age, place of residence during the research, and occasional or permanent residence in the shelter. Using the biographical method and narrative interview technique, which is a particular form of free or in‑depth interview, the study attempts to outline the image of the homeless woman as a mother.Pozycja Duchowy alfabet w świetle komentarza do Psalmu 118 Hilarego z PoitiersKarczewska, Helena (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)An important part of Bishop Hilary of Poitiers’ “Treatise on the Psalms” is his commentary on Psalm 118, which can be called a spiritual alphabet. Just as children learn to read by recognizing letters, so believers should learn the faith and come to know God from a spiritual primer. Like an understanding teacher, Bishop Hilary explains in turn each of the different verses of the Psalms and shows their proper understanding. The heavenly primer is designed to be read and its content put into practice. Hilary puts himself in the position of the pupil and at the same time points to God, the Master of spiritual life. On the path to understanding, he also has the help of the Prophet. The purpose of the spiritual alphabet is a Christian education that is based on self‑development and inner transformation. The constant contemplation of the divine mysteries and integrating them into practice makes heavenly elementary knowledge become the continuous work on oneself.Pozycja Działalność organmistrzowska Włodzimierza TruszczyńskiegoBieńko, Klaudiusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)This article is dedicated to Włodzimierz Truszczyński, a Polish master organ builder active in the second half of the 20th century. The author discusses the historical background of concern including the situation of Polish organ building in the difficult socio‑political reality after the Second World War. He also outlines the activities of the most important Polish organ building firms, Biernacki’s and Kamiński’s, describes the most important instruments built by them, and clarifies the situation of organ building in Pomerania, Greater Poland, and Silesia. Next, the author discusses the story of Włodzimierz Truszczyński’s life and organ building activities since in‑depth and exhaustive studies on this subject have not yet been developed and the only scholarly work on this topic is the author’s Master’s thesis. Due to the lack of printed sources, much information included in the article comes from the archives of the Truszczyński family and from oral accounts. In Włodzimierz Truszczyński’s plant, one of the first in Poland to build mechanical organs, about 180 instruments of different types were built.Pozycja Educational Exchange and New Opportunities ‒ the Perspectives of Polish Erasmus Students in PortugalWiśniewski, Rafał; Bukalska, Izabela (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)Program Erazmus został wprowadzony oficjalnie w 1987 roku pomimo niezadowolenia części krajów członkowskich posiadających już samodzielne rozwiązania w zakresie mobilności edukacyjnej. Pozycja Egzemplaryzm moralny jako postawa solidarnaZadykowicz, Tadeusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)Imitation is an important factor in the moral development of the human person. Taking on the function of an example or model for others and the corresponding actions of the imitators who conform to those of the external model may be interpreted as an attitude of solidarity. This specific kind of love and service to others obliges people to involvement for the sake of the common good, for the well‑being of all and everyone. An important element of this commitment is exhibiting in one’s own behavior authentic values, which take on the stature of an exemplar or model for others. In that way, moral exemplarism is a kind of contribution to the well‑being of others and to the common good, as it is a call to participate in the values interiorized by the model. The imitator’s attitude can also be seen as one of solidarity, through which he is able to properly assess the values of the models, and follow only the real ones. In this manner, he can become a responsible participant in society. Openness towards models is a sign of an active presence in community life, which builds up the richness of its members.Pozycja Emigracyjne formy przepowiadania Ewangelii w Szwecji. Prezentacja wybranego aspektu działalności Polskiej Misji Katolickiej (PMK) w Szwecji w 60. rocznicę funkcjonowaniaChamarczuk, Mariusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)The main task of religious and social work among immigrants is to preach the Word of God and it is to this end that all other forms of activity should be directed. The author attempts to analyze how and by what methods the Polish Catholic Mission in Sweden has been accomplishing this task for 60 years. Drawing on previous experience and listening to the current needs of the faithful, Polish pastoral care in Sweden continues to explore and use new opportunities. In addition to the traditional, proven forms recommended by the Catholic Church to proclaim the word of God, such as homilies and sermons, the catechesis of adults, children and adolescents, the Polish pastoral care in Sweden also uses modern forms of communicating the message of salvation such as the Catholic press on the Internet, audio books, e‑books and encouraging the faithful to listen to catechesis in MP3 format.Pozycja Encyklika Piusa XI „Dilectissima nobis” jako reakcja na próby ograniczania wolności religijnej w HiszpaniiSzubtarski, Grzegorz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)This article reviews the most import ant topics in the encyclical of Pius Xi titled Dilectissima nobis in which the Pope expresses his opposition to the persecution of the Catholic Church and to attempts to restrict religious freedom in Spain during the 1930s. The Church was regarded as an enemy of the state and of social progress. The first two sections of the article provide the historical background of Spanish anti‑clericalism and its increasing hostility to the Church. The third section shows how legislators successfully took away the Church’s ability to function in society. The fourth section discusses the most important topics in the encyclical Dilectissima nobis. In the last section, the author presents the person of Pope Pius XI in the context of his time. He was an enemy of communist ideology, which enslaved man, and a great defender of human dignity.Pozycja Geneza i źródła wolności religii w europejskiej przestrzeni politycznej i prawnejKącka, Katarzyna (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)A person, as a human being, has his or her own natural rights. These include, among other things, the right to life, to express one’s views and the right to privacy. These rights are fundamental and indisputable. Among them is one of the most important liberties ‒ the right to religious freedom. While one of the most important principles, its simplicity and naturalness raise at the same time many doubts. This study aims to provide a general presentation of the principles of the right to freedom of religion: the origin and history of the formation of this right and the road to its sanction. This article also discusses the chief contemporary documents which guarantee this freedom and the rulings of the European Courts of Human Rights in cases concerning infringement of religious rights.Pozycja II Międzynarodowa Konferencja Kanonicznego Prawa Procesowego „Problemy z sądową ochroną praw człowieka” (Olsztyn, 7–8 maja 2012 r.)Krzywkowska, Monika (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)Pozycja III Międzynarodowe Sympozjum Resocjalizacyjne (Młodzieżowy Ośrodek Wychowawczy Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego w Trzcińcu, 20 października 2012 r.)Chamarczuk, Mariusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)Pozycja Ilość pożywienia i posiłków oraz czas ich spożywania w klasztorach starożytnychDziewulski, Jakub (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)The amount and timing of meals in various monasteries evolved with the development of Christian monasticism. Although he founded numerous communities, the creator of the first “Rule,” Pachomius, did not see the need to precisely regulate this issue. However, successive authors writing rules increasingly addressed this problem. An analysis of selected rules reveals that a peak in the development of monastic legislation concerning this matter was the rules of Benedict and the mysterious Master, which regulated even the amount of bread that monks should eat each day.Pozycja Janusz Nowiński SDB, Czerwińsk, Wydawnictwo Tamkapress, Warszawa 2012, ss. 96, il. 150.Prymlewicz, Karolina (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)Pozycja Kościół w służbie chorymZając, Jerzy (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)The century preceding the social processes of transformation in Poland in the 1990s prompted via new state and church legislation the creation and equal functioning of public and private health care facilities, including those run by church bodies. The reactivated Church institution, Caritas, along with the Diocesan Caritas of Plock, brought to life new forms of care for the sick and those in need of medical care and their families. The health care crisis in Poland, as it were, forced the genesis of such activities.Pozycja Kształtowanie świadomości ekologicznej w kulturze polskiejWolter, Edyta (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)The natural environment of a human being consists of natural ground (where one can find food) and a society (in which one lives). Additionally, the person constitutes his or her own environments. This article explains the process of shaping ecological awareness during the Second Republic of Poland (1918–1939) in the pages of the yearbook “Wierchy” printed in Lviv since 1923. “Wierchy” replaced the journal “Pamiętniki” (which had been published by the Polish Tatra Association until 1920). It was devoted to the issue of the problems of the mountains and its territory and culture ‒ as an organ of the Polish Tatra Association (published by the General Management together with the Lviv branch of the Association). The editorial committee consisted of prof. dr Jan Gwalbert Pawlikowski (editor‑in‑chief), prof. dr Adolf Chybiński, prof. dr Walery Goetel, dr Roman Kordys, and Major Bronisław Romaniszyn. The yearbook included numerous scientific articles explaining the significance of the idea and practices for the protection of flora and fauna in the Tatra Mountains. The urgent need for the protection of the Tatra environment was described in the journal as was the cultural determinants of human relationships with nature using examples from scholarly, poetic and musical works which form Polish cultural heritage.Pozycja M. It does not rely on an analysis of primary sources, but rather demonstrates the current state of research on this topic. This article addresses the question of sources and discusses the maximalist and minimalistic positions of contemporary scholars on pharisaism. The article presents eleven main points of interest concerning the Pharisees.
