The author attempts to analyze how and by what methods the Polish Catholic Mission in Sweden has been accomplishing this task for 60 years. Drawing on previous experience and listening to the current needs of the faithful, Polish pastoral care in Sweden continues to explore and use new opportunities. In addition to the traditional, proven forms recommended by the Catholic Church to proclaim the word of God, such as homilies and sermons, the catechesis of adults, children and adolescents, the Polish pastoral care in Sweden also uses modern forms of communicating the message of salvation such as the Catholic press on the Internet, audio books, e‑books and encouraging the faithful to listen to catechesis in MP3 format.Pozycja M. It provides an overview of the existing research on the values of youth with particular emphasis on the values of mothers who are minors and then discusses the results of the author’s own research studies. The studies are comparative in nature and include two control groups: high school girls and mothers co‑creating a complete family. Specialized statistical methods were used to analyze the data in the studies: analysis of variance and analysis of profiles using the coefficient rc Cohen.Pozycja „Trzy dobre uczynki” w ujęciu teologii moralnej społecznejGocko, Jerzy; Kołtun, Katarzyna (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)The goal of this article is recollection of traditional forms of penance often called; Three Good Deeds: fasting, almsgiving and prayer. Looking at the main object of these reflections from the point of view of social moral theology allows one to see how influential are these three good deeds on one’s life, in the fulfillment of oneself, in the relationship with God as well as in the relationship with others. Apart from the above and through the use of Biblical tradition, teaching of the Fathers and the rich teaching of the Church, it also reflects on their source of vitality from antiquity to modern times. The final part of the research focuses on threats in practicing these three good deeds, which includes: secularism, lost sense of sin, consumerism, and permissivism. It is worth mentioning that this refection gains an additional value during this “year of faith,” especially if interpreted in the context of living faith. These include, among other things, the right to life, to express one’s views and the right to privacy. These rights are fundamental and indisputable. Among them is one of the most important liberties ‒ the right to religious freedom. While one of the most important principles, its simplicity and naturalness raise at the same time many doubts. This study aims to provide a general presentation of the principles of the right to freedom of religion: the origin and history of the formation of this right and the road to its sanction. This article also discusses the chief contemporary documents which guarantee this freedom and the rulings of the European Courts of Human Rights in cases concerning infringement of religious rights.Pozycja W poszukiwaniu utraconego sensu. Frankl ‒ psychiatrist, neurologist, philosopher ‒ in analyzing the situation of contemporary man, observes that he has largely lost contact with the spiritual sphere, that which is the most human in him. This state is compounded by the prevailing situation in science which places primacy on reductionisms that grasp man unilaterally. Man, according to Frankl, is not homo sapiens, zoon politikon or homo faber, but rather homo patiens, because this skill of suffering distinguishes him from the natural world. To suffer means to take a certain attitude towards that which is difficult and inevitable. When he embraces a proper attitude towards inevitable suffering, making it sensible, man realizes his own existence and contributes to the development of other people.Pozycja Educational Exchange and New Opportunities ‒ the Perspectives of Polish Erasmus Students in PortugalWiśniewski, Rafał; Bukalska, Izabela (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2013)Program Erazmus został wprowadzony oficjalnie w 1987 roku pomimo niezadowolenia części krajów członkowskich posiadających już samodzielne rozwiązania w zakresie mobilności edukacyjnej. Nowy program miał natomiast realizować pewne dalekosiężne cele, wykraczające poza interesy poszczególnych państw. Osiągnięcie zamierzeń programu wiązało się z pewnymi trudnościami ponieważ procesy zapoczątkowane przez program wymiany studenckiej trwają wiele lat i powinny współgrać ze zmianami zachodzącymi w tym czasie w sferze edukacji. Ogólne cele powinny poza tym łączyć się z interesami poszczególnych instytucji a nade wszystko indywidualnymi planami studentów. W naszym studium przeanalizowaliśmy doświadczenia 21 polskich uczestników stypendium Erazmus w Portugalii. Koncentrowaliśmy się na specyfice wybranej lokalizacji, ale nie tylko. Przeanalizowaliśmy oczekiwania studentów zestawiając je później z oceną korzyści jakie wyniknęły dla nich z pobytu. Zasadniczym pytaniem było, czy efekty wpisują się w zamierzenia twórców samego programu. The book by M. Łukaszewski (ed. WSP, Częstochowa 1997) contains a description of the life history and memories of W. Łukaszewski as well as a thematic catalogue of Łukaszewski’s works. The book Musical Interludes is the first, complete edition of the collected journalistic work of Łukaszewski, which covers 126 reviews and 7 interviews. So far, nine scientific articles about Łukaszewski have appeared in scholarly journals in Częstochowa, Katowice, Bydgoszcz and Warsaw. Bibliographic entries about Łukaszewski are inscribed in: Musical Encyclopedia of PWM, the dictionary Polish Composers between 1918–2000, Lexicon of Polish Music Teachers, International Who’s Who in Music and Musicians and others.
