Pozycja Michał Wojciechowski, Synopsa czterech Ewangelii w nowym przekładzie polskim, Warszawa 2022, ss. 493.Ćwikła, Jarosław (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)Pozycja Ruchy rodzinne w PolsceWłodarczyk, Krzysztof (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)The paper characterizes the role of family movements in marriage and family life, as well as the way in which family movements fulfil the mission of evangelization in the Church. The first part of the paper was an attempt to explain the general concept of “movement”. The thorough analysis of the Catholic Church documents indicated the main Source of the origin of movements and their role in the Church life. The second part of the paper characterized family movements in general. Family movements focus on the deepening of religious and spiritual formation of their family members, as well as on promoting the principles of the Christian family life. In the Church family movements concentrate on constant building of marital love. These are the movements that, by special methods based on the grace of the sacraments and taking account of the differences in male and female mentality, lead to forging spiritual bonds between spouses contributing to constant renewing and deepening of their marital love. The paper listed the most dynamic family movements in Poland. These movements are, inter alia, the answer to the calling of the signs of the times: marital and family crisis, raising children, parenthood, human love and life itself.Pozycja Życie i pasterska posługa księdza Zygmunta Trybowskiego w kontekście Vaticanum IIWachowski, Piotr (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)The Second Vatican Council (1963–1965) was a breakthrough in the history of the contemporary Church. Many historians hold the view that this general assembly of the bishops of the world was so important, because for the first time in history the Church appeared there as truly universal, that is Catholic. The uniqueness of the Council could also be seen in its extensive teaching and the effort of its participants to conduct as comprehensive aggiornamento of the ecclesial life as possible. Father Zygmunt Trybowski (1937–2002) was born in Luzino in the Polish region of Kashubia. His pastoral ministry was shaped by the teaching of Vatican II. He sought to implement the renewed vision of the Church out of concern for the people entrusted to his care, which resulted in the development of dynamically functioning parishes in Siemoń and Bydgoszcz. Nowadays, amidst the painful experience of pandemic’s effects, the ideological confusion, the turmoil of war and the decline of authority of a spiritual leader, we definitely need vivid models of priests. We should hope that the life and mission of Father Zygmunt Trybowski will encourage others to take a path similar to his, which – in the light of historical sources and the testimonies of witnesses – shows signs of sanctity. This article is an attempt to present how the Council’s vision of priesthood and the Church was being implemented in the practical ministry of Father Zygmunt Trybowski.Pozycja Stygmaty jako dar i wyzwanieSzlahs, Sabina (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)Stigmata point to Christ’s cross and are related to suffering. A stigmatic is a man of suffering and therefore stigmata sometimes require heroism. They are also a testimony to the truth about the passion of Jesus Christ as Redeemer. They are an experience of Christ’s wounds too. The first stigmatic was St. Francis of Assisi. Today, the most famous stigmatic is Brother Elia.Pozycja Cierpienie w kontekście Chrystusowego krzyżaSzlahs, Sabina (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)Understanding the significance of suffering is only possible in the context of Christ’s cross. A particular form of suffering are stigmata, invisible and visible, which enable a unique connection with the suffering of Jesus Christ on the cross. In suffering, Christ’s cross is a sign of hope. It is a place of Sacrifice and Victory. It also has numerous prefigurations that reinforce and clarify its significance and, at the same time, the significance of suffering.Pozycja Fundamentalne płaszczyzny wychowawcze w jezuickich szkolnych Sodalicjach Mariańskich dawnej Rzeczypospolitej i na Śląsku (XVI–XVIII w.)Sprutta, Justyna (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)The history of Jesuit education is also a history of the Sodality (Congregation) of Our Lady, founded by the Belgian Jesuit John Leunis. The Sodality was canonically approved in 1584, that is, twenty years after its inception. The Superior General of the Society of Jesus, Claudio Aquaviva, drew up a statute binding on all congregations, thus initiating the existence of the Sodality as a public and church society. The Jesuit Sodality of Our Lady experienced a great crisis after the dissolution of the Society of Jesus in the eighteenth century. In the modern Jesuit Sodality, the religious and moral education was the most important element. On the religious ground, the important role of prayer and ascetic practices was emphasized, and on the moral ground – virtue, diligence, charitable activities, patriotism and civic formation. A member of Sodality was supposed to be an exemplar of religious, moral and civic attitude. Today, the Christian Life Community continues the traditions of this Sodality.Pozycja Edukacja i terapia dorosłych niepełnosprawnych na przykładzie teatru [Sugestia sceny religijnej]Sprutta, Justyna (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)The article first presents the general therapeutic and educational role of theatre in relation to adults with disabilities, and then focuses on the pantomime, chosen from a variety of theatrical genres. The pantomime is seen here as a universal performance that can best integrate people with disabilities (for example, with dysfunctions of mobility) and nondisabled persons on stage. The value of pantomime for disabled adults is also emphasized. The last part of the article, concerning the relation indicated in the title: theatre and disability, concentrates particularly on the stages welcoming disabled actors, as well as on the advantages of the presence of an adult actor with disabilities on those stages, where often his disability becomes an asset in itself.Pozycja Święty Józef – człowiek walczący z wątpliwościami? Obraz ziemskiego opiekuna Pana Jezusa na podstawie ikony Narodzenia PańskiegoRybka, Paweł (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)This article attempts to perform an iconographic and theological analysis of the icon of the Nativity. This iconographic type contains an interesting motif related to the doubts experienced by St. Joseph. The first part of the article presents selected passages of the Holy Scripture referring to the Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Then, in a compressed version, the reader is given an overview of how St. Joseph has been commemorated in the liturgical calendar down through the centuries. The third part of the article shows how the Blessed Bridegroom is depicted in the iconographic canon. The last part presents St. Joseph as a man experiencing doubts related to the mystery of Incarnation. Furthermore, it discusses how he manages to deal with this difficult experience and how he represents all of humanity in this situation.Pozycja Anamnetyczno-katechetyczny wymiar obrzędów Mszy Wieczerzy Pańskiej według Mszału sprzed Ordo Hebdomadae Sanctae instauratus Piusa XIIRożniakowski, Adam (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)The Mass of the Lord’s Supper from before Pius XII’s reform is a remarkably rich and subtle treasury of the Church’s liturgy. This unique rite of the church year contains an extremely carefully selected content, which brings together, in a particularly clear focus, the entire message of the Triduum Sacrum. The texts of the Missal guide us from the events in the Paradise garden to the resurrection. Words, gestures and symbols not only build the atmosphere of this and the following days, but also become a language of catechesis. This liturgy places the participants, in a special way, as living witnesses to what happened in the Cenacle. The potential of the rites to make present the Lord’s Supper is exceptionally strong and irrefutable. An additional value of this liturgy is its catechetical character. The content and forms of liturgical expression bear the hallmarks of various types of catechesis, the most visible of which are the kerygmatic and the anthropological ones. The liturgy of Holy Thursday also exhausts the basic aims of catechesis, teaches, initiates and forms the faithful.Pozycja Stygmatyzacja s. Wandy Boniszewskiej znakiem Miłosierdzia BożegoRachwalik, Walter (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)Sister Wanda Boniszewska (1907–2003) bound her life with the Congregation of Sisters of Angels. God endowed her with a wide range of mystical graces hidden from the world, such as the espousal to Jesus Christ, ecstatic states, cardiognosis, bilocation, profound insight into the mysteries of faith. She was also privileged with the experience of stigmata, both in the invisible and the externalized form. Living a hidden life, she was constantly there before God as a sacrifice satisfying God’s Justice for the sins of the world, in particular for the sins of priests and consecrated persons.Pozycja Danuta Piekarz, (Nie)święty gniew. Co Biblia mówi o złości?, Wydawnictwo WAM, Kraków 2019, ss. 168.Ćwikła, Jarosław (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)Pozycja Wolontariat opiekuńczy Florenckiej Archikonfraterni Miłosierdzia wobec osób w wieku senioralnymOlczyk, Maciej (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)The article concerns the activity of voluntary care service of the Florentine Archconfraternity of Mercy (Venerabile Arciconfraternita della Misericordia di Firenze). This charitable organization has been helping people with various needs for over 775 years. For centuries, its special mission has been to care for the sick and to provide medical transport. Currently, the Archconfraternity has adjusted its offer to the needs of the time, directing its attention to people of senior age. The first dimension of activity in this sector are visits and support offered to lonely people in their own homes. The second dimension of assistance is the offer of two specialized retirement homes, which offer seniors a wide range of activities and social security.Pozycja Chrześcijańska wizja świata ekologicznegoHurlak, Patrycja Magdalena (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)This article is an attempt to explain the Christian vision of man’s relationship to the world created by God. The author analyses biblical texts and the teaching of the Church, in particular Pope Francis’ encyclical letter Laudato Si’, in order to present the ecological trends of contemporary theology. The concern for the created world springs from the proper understanding of the biblical message, in which man is invited to assume responsibility for the created world entrusted to his care. The transformations that took place during the last two centuries show that man, immersed in the culture of possession, all too often does not take account of the need to protect the natural environment. Reckless violation of the ecological balance resulted in thousands of species of plants and animals disappearing each year, which future generations will no longer have a chance to know. Therefore, in the life of a Christian ecology cannot be a distant addition to life, but a basis allowing us to fulfil God’s command to subdue the earth. Everyone is called to embrace the ecological conversion, because in God’s magnificent design man and woman are called to live in communion with Him, in communion with each other and in communion with all creation. A Christian should be like Noah who was well aware that God will hold him accountable for every lost species, however small it be, because everything that God created is good.Pozycja Czyściec w nauczaniu i doświadczeniu KościołaGrodnicki, Mateusz (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)Purgatory is the place where two paradoxes persist: justice and mercy, and suffering and joy of souls. It is a place of hope too. In Purgatory, the temporary suffering is permeated with joy, because the soul is aware that after the experience of purgation in Purgatory it will be with God in heaven (visio beatifica). This truth has remained unchanged since the beginning of the Church. It is already mentioned in the Bible. This article presents the truth about Purgatory based on the Bible and the Church’s teaching before and after the Second Vatican Council.Pozycja Wybrane pastoralne aspekty katechizacji w parafiiGogolik, Mirosław (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)In the structure of the Catholic Church, the parish certainly holds a particular place, as a living and dynamic Christian community called to become a fraternal, family home, open to the faithful. An analysis of the contemporary catechetical and pastoral reflection, as well as of the teaching of the Magisterium of the Church, allows us to notice the great concern for the shape, the character and the tasks of parish communities in the Catholic Church. Among its numerous functions and tasks, a significant amount of thought is given to the catechetical service, which the parish performs and for which it is responsible. Thus takes place the actualization of the image of the Church of the first centuries, where the catechetical teaching – the Christian mystagogy – used to be conducted within the community of the faithful. This paper presents selected pastoral aspects of catechesis in the parish in the contemporary activity of the Church, which in the documents and the catechetical literature from the recent years function under the name of “catechetical pastoral care”.Pozycja Potencjał i dynamika rozwoju Kościoła w świetle przypowieści o zasiewie (Mk 4, 26–29). Studium literackie, semantyczne i teologiczneĆwikła, Jarosław (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)The Gospel of Matthew – like most other books of the Bible – bears the marks of the era in which it was written. It is therefore rather easy to determine the place and the time of its composition. What exactly can be determined? While reading the first Gospel carefully, it can be concluded that it was most probably written in Palestine and that it was originally addressed to Judeo-Christians. It can also be said that it was edited at a time when the paths of the Church and the Synagogue diverged (AD 70-80). Such conclusions can be reached, for example, while reading the text about the weeds (Mt 13:24–30, 36–43). In this article this text is examined. For the sake of clarity, the study has been divided into three passages, the first of which is devoted to literary issues, the second – to semantic, and the third – to theological ones.Pozycja Napięcie między Kościołem a Synagogą w świetle kompozycji o chwaście (Mt 13, 24–30.36–43). Studium literackie, semantyczne i teologiczneĆwikła, Jarosław (Prymasowski Instytut Kultury Chrześcijańskiej im. Stefana Kard. Wyszyńskiego w Bydgoszczy, 2022)At the end of his public activity, Jesus cried out at the sight of the temple in Jerusalem: As for these things that you see, the days will come when not one stone will be left upon another; all will be thrown down (Lk 21:6). He added also: Remember that all these things will happen before the people now living have all died. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. No one knows, however, when that day or hour will come – neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son; only the Father knows (Mk 13:30–32). Hearing these words, the apostles understood them literally. They considered them to be a harbinger of the destruction of the Holy City, the fall of Israel and Judaism. However, after the sending of the Holy Spirit, they began to see their deeper meaning. They began to see in them a foretelling of the end of the world and the imminent Parousia of Jesus. Unfortunately, these events were not forthcoming, and the fact was discouraging for some Christians. This was the case, for example, in the pagan-Christian communities of Greece and Syria, with which Luke was associated. For some of the faithful of these communities began to live as if they had never met Jesus or heard of him or been baptized in his name. These Christians, therefore, began to be satisfied with a superficial, shallow religiosity. Luke rebuked them for this, and he did so in the parable of the Pharisee and the Publican (Lk 18:9–14). In this article this parable was examined. For the sake of clarity, this study has been divided into three passages, the first of which is devoted to literary issues, the second – to semantic, and the third – to theological ones.
