Pozycja Postawy polskiej młodzieży akademickiej w konfrontacji ze zmieniającą się płaszczyzną społeczno-polityczną współczesnej EuropyWoś, Marek (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2006)For a very long historical period the Polish society had lived in an isolated centre of Europe which was divided ideologically, economically and intellectually. The level of life in West Europe made up for people an unattainable ceiling. The historical changes appeared in a sudden way, which made the political conditioning blocking the unity of the continent fell into ruin. As the result of it the new proposals were opened for the society, and first of all new tasks – the integration of old continent. For major part of society coming together those not always consenting two cultures means that the earlier acquired, assimilated ways of life lost the effectiveness, becoming harmful in new reality or they meet with the negative function, while the new cultural rules appear to them as strange and imposed by force. The level of social consciousness, intensity of commitment in social-economical-political life depends on the level of education, also maneuvering the economic, social and cultural base so that it can bring the complex level of satisfaction in every separate treatment.Pozycja Od Angoli do Zairu. Lack of possibility to communicate creates another barrier separating them from the healthy people (physically fit and speaking). Difficulties which originate lack of understanding by others in a consequence lead to the deprivation of sensorial and social needs. Speech enables greater participation in the social life then non-verbal behaviors. A word sets a man free from the contacts with a direct group, allows at the same time a direct contact (breaking the time and spatial limitations). On the other hand non-verbal communication links a man with a community that is accessible to him. But in the situation of the development disturbances of any kind communication process becomes disorganized, learning of a language in particular. A necessity arises to replace the verbal communication by a non-verbal one, which becomes an alternative that makes the active communication with the social environment possible. In the present article there was contained a reflection encompassing problems of the handicapped people relating to the verbal communicating and proposals of the chosen solutions in this scope.Pozycja Opiekuńczo-wychowawczy i profilaktyczny charakter salezjańskiej pracy socjalnej z młodzieżą na przykładzie działalności Regionalnego Centrum „Don Bosco” w RatyzbonieStępkowski, Dariusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2006)The article describes the idea of youth social work (Jugendsozialarbeit), which was started in 19th century in Germany. Firstly, it provides an overview of historical orgins of youth education, which emphasise elimination of social pathologies and professional training. The link between various activities and religious education is illustrated by quotations from the pioneers of youth social work: Johann G. Breuer and Adolph Kolping. This unity determines the pedagogic character of education process as a whole. Summing up the first period of youth social work development, it is possible to point out its two distinctive features: (1) sensitivity to the youth social needs with the attention paid to professional training and (2) morality-based education. On the basis of the above-mentioned, the following section presents theories of dealing with difficult teenagers, especially those developed in the 20th century. This leads to a conclusion that the activities taken as a part of youth social work are often a response to the needs of young generation. The third section gives an insight into the activity of Regional Centre “Don Bosco” in Regensburg in Germany. This is a centre, where education is carried out according to rules of youth social work. The last issue in the article is contemporary crisis of youth social work identity. The author suggests that one of the reasons for the situation is less stress on axiological and religious aspects, which determine pedagogic character of youth social work.Pozycja Współczesna rodzina podhalańska. Bernarda Duszyńskiego SDB w Libii w latach 1976–1994Szmidt, Stanisław; Mikołajczyk, Dariusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2006)Father Bernard Duszynski (*1930) was ordained in 1957 and then he was working pastoral for 18 years in Poland. He left for Libya in 1976 as a chaplain of Polish and Italian nuns’ communities in Cyrenaica. He lived in Beida, from where he was commuting to Darnah and Tubruq every three weeks. He organised catechism for children and youth because there were a lot of Polish workers and their families in Libya at that time. Except a few thousands of Polish workers, Fr Bernard Duszynski watched his pastoral service also over some other camps of workers of different nationalities. A group of Filipinos was pretty large. The liturgy was celebrated in Polish, Italian, English, French, Arabian and Korean. During celebrations fathers were given a hand by lay people very often. Bishop Giovanni Martinelli nominated Fr Bernard Duszynski as a vicar bishop on the 8th of May 1986 and five years later, on the 31st of January 1991, as a general vicar for the territory of vicariat apostolic in Banghazi. Father Bernard Duszynski came back to Poland in 1994. Only few missionaries left so rich posthumous literature works as Father Bernard did. He wrote a great number of letters and some books about Libya and his work in that country.Pozycja Den Katolske Kirke i Norge – fra kristingen till idag, red. John W. Gran, E. Gunnes, L.R. His most remarkable achievements are inextricably related to the reception of the Scandinavian drama in Poland exhibiting a close focus on Strinberg’s literary output, on different forms of religious drama and the history of Lublin Theatre. Most of the Reverend’s publications were centred on these issues and constituted contributing factors in further studies undertaken by his seminar participants. Not only was the Reverend Professor Lewko a highly regarded academic, but also a committed educator. Many students of the Catholic University of Lublin vividly remember him as a patient teacher whose most cherished ambition was to provide them with adequate spiritual and intellectual development. He will be forever remembered as an indefatigable initiator of summer walking tours and a remarkable person graced with unprecedented sensitivity.
